Made in Wisconsin

July 18, 2015

Four of Reid’s sculptures are exhibited in a very special showing of 58 Wisconsin Artists at the home of Jan Serr and John Shannon in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The exhibition is on view as a unique fundraising opportunity for patrons of the Museum of Wisconsin Art (MOWA). The collection of Wisconsin artists shown is just a fraction of the works owned by Shannon and Serr and housed in the historic Bergenthal House on Marietta Avenue.

Reid’s work is featured along side many other important modern and contemporary Wisconsin artists such as Tom Uttech, John Wilde, Jan Serr, Warrington Colescott, Schomer Lichtner, Patrick Farrell, Shimon+Lindemann and more. The exhibition was dedicated to Elaine Erickson, longtime Milwaukee gallery owner who retired in 2015 after 25 years.
